Achoimre:This book aims to demonstrate the viability of the use of alternative building materials, as is the case with the Compressed Earth Blocks (CEB). In the development of the document, the tests that were carried out to experimental populations according to Mexican standards are offered to demonstrate the quality of the material and demonstrate that it meets the highest standards. On the other hand, the use of natural stabilizers such as cactus mucilage and aloe vera is proposed as a sustainable stabilization alternative for CEB; Likewise, the use of lime as an ecological building material is considered, its properties and uses in land construction are exposed. Finally, an experimental housing designed with the studied technology is shown and where the economic and sustainable advantages of the use of the CEB, the mucilage and the lime are demonstrated, which will allow the reader to have a clear idea that these alternative materials are consider a sustainable possibility to build homes in Mexico.
