Miêu tả
Tóm tắt:Throughout the history of mankind, exports of products between countries have been present in order to satisfy the needs of the population. In this sense, this research seeks to determine how the regulation of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the crisis caused by COVID-19 hinder the process of food exports to the United States by MSMEs in Tamaulipas, under the perspective Uppsala Model. The research is carried out through a case study, selecting the MSME Sazonadores Gordito Huasteco. The instrument used is the semi-structured interview and the qualitative analysis of the thematic content is carried out with the support of ATLAS.ti 22 software. The main results indicate that the owners of MSMEs are unaware of certain requirements established by the FDA for the export of their product. However, they have a general notion of the process they must carry out to internationalize it. In addition, the owners state that they have every intention of starting the export process, but the new reality generated by COVID-19 prevents them from starting, due to the excessive time required at customs to cross products that are not basic necessities.
