要約:This summarizes the results of ecological restoration carried out in the Burgos basin portion of the Laguna Madre, Tamaulipas. With the use of integrated approaches to the landscape and community development activities were completed with the participation of the locals. For the recovery and conservation of soil, 87 filtering dams were installed, distributed in 19 demonstration units for each system of gullies, recovering an average of 15 inches of soil per dam. In the Tamaulipas thorn scrub reforestation and stabilization of coastal dunes, plantations were established with 6750 and 5335 individuals, respectively. The recreation of mangrove areas began to germinate seeds of white mangrove, black and red, then seedlings were transplanted into 20 units of propagation. For community work developed three documents: a pair titled “Plan for natural resource management”, specific to both communities and the third “Diagnosis of ecotourism potential of the town-Mezquital Higuerillas.” The link allowed society to promote environmental awareness among people, directing them to better manage their natural resources. This local cooperation provided a methodological strategy, incorporating the views and community decisions, same as, when coupled with ecological concepts, foster a new way of looking at ecology. The achievements have a positive impact on the natural resources present in more than 6000 hectares approximately.
