Creswell, it is studied how two micro-enterprises start the implementation of transformation digital. The results indicate that the PESTEL analysis supports the identification of threats and opportunities in the environment, MSMEs observed an increase in sales and the tools that were mainly used in the digitalization process were digital commerce and digital marketing, in addition to material for the registration of trademarks found in the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI). It was of great importance to raise awareness among those responsible for MSMEs regarding the importance of recognizing what the business model was, identifying the profile of their clients to establish more suitable contacts. The methodology used is a roadmap for digitization, until reaching the intensive use of Information Technology. La digitalización de las empresas, principalmente de las grandes, era inexorable, aunque con la contingencia sanitaria que se enfrentó a nivel mundial, obligó a las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (MiPyMEs) a su transformación digital, en donde no solamente se requería de inversión o de infraestructura para poder permanecer en el mercado, era necesaria una transformación organizacional y de cultura, por lo que a través de un estudio de caso con un enfoque cualitativo definido como  J. Creswell, se estudia cómo dos microempresas inician la implementación de transformación digital. Los resultados indican que el análisis PESTEL apoya en la identificación de amenazas y oportunidades en el entorno, las MiPyMEs observaron un incremento de ventas y las herramientas que principalmente se utilizaron en el proceso de la digitalización fueron el comercio digital y el marketing digital, además de material para el registro de las marcas que se encuentra en el Instituto Mexicano de la propiedad industrial (IMPI).Fue de gran relevancia concientizar a los responsables de las MiPyMEs respecto a la importancia de reconocer cuál era el modelo de negocio, identificando el perfil de sus clientes para establecer contactos más adecuados. La metodología utilizada es una hoja de ruta para la digitalización, hasta llegar al uso intensivo de las Tecnologías de la información.
