Sumario:In México, scholar dropout is a topic of national concern; Michoacán state occupies one of the first places with this problem and it is not clear the participation of those in charge of providing a solution to this problem. Hence the need for schools to implement actions aimed at reducing this problem. An intervention proposal is presented to reduce the school dropout rate. The purpose is to contract the negative consequences that produces this type of educational phenomenon. The present work is a qualitative research based on action research. The exploration has two substantial paths; the investigation and the description. The problem of school dropout is not concern of the teacher or the school, but a social commitment that involves all the actors of the pedagogical process and that together involves  the  educational  community.
