Résumé:This work is presented as a pioneer in the economic area of ??regional growth and development under an applied approach. The theoretical-conceptual tools around regional development in Mexico have not been very clear. On the contrary, they are outlined as diffuse and confusing, in such a way that the professionals of these areas when facing an analysis of this type, encounter the basic problem of where to start. It is this work that saves this emptiness of concrete information giving a sample of how to make a real analysis through a model developed by the authors where the simplicity and the mechanisms of application and instrumentation are the basic tool for the analysis and diagnosis for the region analyzed, as well as the identification of areas of sustained long-term growth. Finally, the economic policy recommendations that will guide long-term regional growth and development strategies.
