The general objective focuses on the experiences of local governments in the implementation of social programs that promote sustained growth, as a result it is disaggregated into specific contents along the fundamental thematic axes of this work: I) Those referring to the social policy and local development, where clear alerts in the management of social programs supports the creation of mechanisms to reduce vulnerability conditions; the promotion of health prevention and persistence to citizens. II) Concerning urban development, the importance of the determinants of industrial concentration for local growth and development is denoted; as well as the external influence for investment management in urban real estate capital and its economic, social, cultural and environmental costs. III) Finally, research on convergence from the local, denotes the importance of self-employment as a generator of new business units from their meanings and continuities; and the premises on ethnography and ethnohistory that place conditions on the binomial teaching-learning in infants. Consequently, the multidisciplinary synergies of the authors with an awareness and training in areas of quality knowledge provide a unique facet of innovative designs that will motivate governments, organizations and institutions to continue fighting for the improvement of social policies in Mexico. En esta obra se abordan análisis sobre programas de bienestar social como salud, vivienda, educación, empleo, seguridad social y servicios públicos con perspectivas dinámicas tanto a nivel local, regional y nacional. El objetivo general se centra en las experiencias de los gobiernos locales en la implantación de programas sociales que promuevan un crecimiento sostenido, en consecuencia se disgrega en contenidos específicos a lo largo de los ejes temáticos fundamentales de la presente obra: I) Los referentes a la política social y desarrollo local, donde claras alertas en el manejo de apoyos de los programas sociales permite generar mecanismos para disminuir condiciones de vulnerabilidad; el fomento en prevención de salud y persistencia a la ciudadanía. II) Lo concerniente al desarrollo urbano, se denota la importancia de los determinantes de concentraci´ón industrial para un crecimiento y desarrollo local; así como la influencia externa para gestión de inversión en capital inmobiliario urbano y sus costos económicos, sociales, culturales y ambientales. III) Finalmente, investigaciones sobre la convergencia desde lo local, denota la importancia del autoempleo como generador de nuevas unidades de negocio desde sus acepciones y continuidades; y las premisas sobre la etnografía y la etnohistoria que colocan condiciones sobre el binomio enseñanza-aprendizaje en infantes. En consecuencia, las sinergias multidisciplinarias de los autores con una expreciencia y formación en áreas de conocimiento de calidad proporcionan una faceta única de diseños innovadores que motivará a los gobiernos, organismos e instituciones a seguir luchando por la mejora de políticas sociales de México.
