Sammanfattning:The ascription of diversity in a universalist framework of human rights has revealed certain deficiencies in the attention to violations of specific rights of vulnerable groups among which indigenous peoples and communities are distinguished. In this sense, this article seeks to exhibit the contradictions that presents the current discourse of human rights within the framework of the recognition of diversity, as well as opening new lines of research around the object of study. The methodology used is based on qualitative analysis, centered on the review of documentary resources from international organizations, specialized bibliography and representative judicial decisions emerge. The results obtained show an interpretative trend of human rights, in which the justification of axiological guidelines that transform rights and a dogmatic approach to human rights coexist.
