In this article we analized, some historical backgrounds and how the mexican nationality is acquired or lost based on the constitutional mandatory, in the scaffold of the relative articles and the evolution of itselves, since its begining from the magnificent creation of the Querétaro’s constituent. El centenario de la promulgación de nuestra actual Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos propicia, a manera de celebración, analizar, difundir, con una mirada retrospectiva, el transitar legislativo de algunos de sus artículos que han ido reformándose para armonizar con las épocas y los intereses de los mexicanos. La nacionalidad, considerada como un vínculo que une al individuo con el Estado, es una institución inherente a la población, elemento imprescindible de este. En este artículo analizamos, algunos antecedentes históricos, y como se adquiere la nacionalidad mexicana o como se pierde desde el mandato constitucional, en el andamiaje de los artículos relativos y la evolución de los mismos desde su origen en la obra magna del constituyente de Querétaro.
