Likewise, the Historical Methodology was used for this analysis, as well as the Empirical Methodology supported by the opinions of experts and doctrinaires at the national and international level, as well as in the constitutional and jurisprudential legal concepts, it is strengthened with interviews conducted by prominent journalists in the media. communication at a national and international level, in the same way in personal interviews with people deprived of liberty in the prison of Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The results and conclusions that were formally reflected in the investigation, taking into account both what was obtained from the surveys and from the documentary exploration carried out on the regulations and criteria issued by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation. A más de dos años de la pandemia por Covid-19, se sabe que deben existir medidas básicas y necesarias para poder prevenir la expansión del contagio del virus dentro de los centros de readaptación social o centros penitenciarios, para esto se realizó la investigación documental y empírica para conocer si se habían aplicado en favor de la población penitenciaria, los recursos sanitarios establecidos por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas y en la Ley General de Salud, con motivo de la epidemia conocida como Covid-19, siendo este el objetivo del presente trabajo. Así mismo, se empleó para este análisis la Metodología Histórica, así como la Empírica apoyada en opiniones de expertos y doctrinarios a nivel nacional e internacional, al igual en los conceptos legales constitucionales y jurisprudenciales se fortalece con entrevistas realizadas por destacados periodistas en los medios de comunicación a nivel nacional e internacional, de igual modo en entrevistas personales realizadas a las personas privadas de la libertad en la cárcel de Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, México. Los resultados y conclusiones que quedaron plasmadas formalmente en la investigación, tomando en cuenta tanto lo obtenido de las encuestas como de la exploración documental realizada a la normatividad y a criterios emanados de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación.
