Summary:More than two years after the Covid-19 pandemic, it is known that there must be basic and necessary measures to prevent the spread of the virus within social rehabilitation centers or prisons, for this documentary research was carried out and empirical study to know if the health resources established by the United Nations Organization and in the General Health Law had been applied in favor of the prison population, due to the epidemic known as Covid-19, this being the objective of the present study. worked. Likewise, the Historical Methodology was used for this analysis, as well as the Empirical Methodology supported by the opinions of experts and doctrinaires at the national and international level, as well as in the constitutional and jurisprudential legal concepts, it is strengthened with interviews conducted by prominent journalists in the media. communication at a national and international level, in the same way in personal interviews with people deprived of liberty in the prison of Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The results and conclusions that were formally reflected in the investigation, taking into account both what was obtained from the surveys and from the documentary exploration carried out on the regulations and criteria issued by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.
