The method is quantitative, causal and cross sectional, applied to a sample of 139 operational employees in manufacturing industries in Sonora, México; the analisys were carried out in SPSS. The results present a positive correlation between the organizational interventions of training, development, communication, teamwork, empowerment, financial and non-financial interventions. The findings obtained can be useful to implement interventions that contribute to the balance of life and work of people and development of organizations. The results present an original contribution in an unexplored area of knowledge in industrial organizations in Mexico. The resistance by the industries and the fear of the workers to express their opinion represents a challenge and a limitation in a world that requires adaptation strategies in face of demographic, social and competitive changes. El objetivo del estudio es identificar las intervenciones organizacionales más significativas que promueven el balance vida-trabajo (BVT) en la industria manufacturera. El método es cuantitativo de tipo transversal causal aplicado a una muestra de 139 empleados operativos en industrias manufactureras del Estado de Sonora, México; los análisis se realizaron en SPSS. Los resultados presentan una correlación positiva entre las intervenciones organizacionales de capacitación, desarrollo, comunicación, trabajo en equipo, empoderamiento, recompensas financieras y no financieras y BVT, identificándose como variables predictoras del BVT, las intervenciones de capacitación y trabajo en equipo. Los hallazgos obtenidos pueden ser útiles para implementar intervenciones que contribuyan al balance de vida y trabajo de las personas y el desarrollo de las organizaciones. Los resultados presentan una aportación original en un área del conocimiento sin explorar en organizaciones industriales en México. La resistencia por parte de las industrias y el temor de los trabajadores a expresar su opinión representa un reto y una limitación en un mundo que requiere estrategias de adaptación ante los cambios demográficos, sociales y de competitividad.
