spelling oai:ojs2.cienciasadmvastyp.uat.edu.mx:article-2372020-02-09T20:54:50Z Challenges and Opportunities in the Conformation of the Fruit Cluster of Canatlán, Durango Retos y Oportunidades en la Conformación del Clúster de Fruticultores de Manzana del Municipio de Canatlán, Durango Villarreal Solís, Francisco Rodríguez Valles, Flor de María Muñoz Cabrales, Zaira Esther This manuscript focuses on the recognition of the challenges and opportunities faced by the Durango fruit agriculturist, facing the possibility of taking advantage of the virtues of commercial conglomerations, well known as clusters.   The investigation  presents an introduction of development panorama in the fruit-growing region of the municipality of Canatlán; through the analysis, of the institutional diagnosis of the organization, based on semi-structured interviews, providing the  basis for Porter Competitiveness Diamond analysis, and the SWOT Analysis, focused on the condition of basic factors or natural resources, defining the competitive advantages,  and determining the phase of the Cluster Life Cycle in which the Integradora de Productores de Manzana S.A. C.V. (IRPM). Este manuscrito se concentra en el reconocimiento de los retos y oportunidades que enfrenta el fruticultor duranguense, ante la posibilidad de aprovechar las virtudes de las conglomeraciones empresariales, bien conocidas como clústeres. La investigación del estudio presenta una introducción del panorama de desarrollo en la región frutícola del municipio de Canatlán, en el Estado de Durango; a través del análisis, del diagnóstico institucional de la organización basado en entrevistas a profundidad semiestructuradas, que dan fundamento al diagnóstico de las condiciones de los factores propuestos por el Diamante de la Competitividad de Porter, y el Análisis FODA, haciendo énfasis en el aprovechamiento de los factores básicos o recursos naturales que definen la construcción de ventajas competitivas, y definen la fase del Ciclo de Vida de Clúster en el que se encuentra inmersa la Integradora de Productores de Manzana S.A. de C.V.
