The results of a previous study conducted by Saavedra (2014) are used, in which data was collected through fieldwork to a sample of 400 SMEs. A descriptive and correlational analysis was carried out, only to SMEs in the industrial sector, the main findings show that there is a significant relationship between supply chain management and the competitiveness of SMEs in Mexico City, mainly in what concerns to the factors: capacity of the production process, preventive maintenance, research and development, supply of raw materials and inventory management, corroborating these findings with what was found in the previous literature. Estudios antecedentes han señalado la importancia de la gestión de la cadena de suministro en la competitividad de las PYME, por esta razón el objetivo de esta investigación consiste en determinar si existe relación entre la gestión de la cadena de suministro y la competitividad de las PYME industrial en la Ciudad de México. Se utilizan los resultados de un estudio previo realizado por Saavedra (2014), en el que se recolectaron datos a través de un trabajo de campo a una muestra de 400 PYME.
