The purpose of the research is to verify this relationship with empirical data of the state of Nayarit, in order to advance the state of knowledge regarding the determinants in the degree of competitiveness of the business and thereby promote the improvement of the conditions of this sector. It is based on the hypothesis that the MIPyMES of Nayarit are not competitive, finding that their level is not optimal, but not the expected one either. El grado de competitividad en micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (MIPyMES) y su relación con la gestión de recursos humanos ha sido analizada en diversos estudios ya que se considera que puede ser de gran incidencia en el nivel de desempeño de dichas empresas; por lo que surge la pregunta, ¿existe relación e incidencia entre los procesos de gestión de recursos humanos y el nivel de competitividad empresarial? El propósito de la investigación es comprobar dicha relación con datos empíricos del estado de Nayarit, con el fin de avanzar en el estado del conocimiento respecto a los determinantes en el grado de competitividad de los negocios y con ello promover la mejora de las condiciones de este sector.
