It intends to install a transmission line called “Arroyo del Coyote Country”, in the city of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. Social diagnosis was performed in order to provide the elements for a decision to allow the selection of a career that involves the least amount of impact to the environment, cultural heritage and the interests of the people living in the area of influence. The L.T. have a length of 13 km with a width of right of way of 18 m, corresponding to a total area of 46.8 hectares. For social diagnosis identified urbanized areas, populated areas, depopulated and social importance from official sources and then made field trips for verification and exact location. The construction of the L.T. Arroyo del Coyote-Country is an important contribution to the electrical system because of the 308.828 inhabitants of the municipality of Nuevo Laredo 73.194 residing in private homes in 2.986 households are still lacking electrical service. The trajectory is selected environmental and socio-economically the most viable because it would only upgrade the existing infrastructure, without impacting new areas.
