Este artículo expone una forma más sencilla de hacer proyectos basados en la metodología de mejora seis sigma para empresas pequeñas y medianas. Seis sigma es una metodología en donde se usan datos reales para mejorar la calidad y reducir costos. Se ha hecho una encuesta en empresas pyme tamaulipecas, obteniendo resultados que nos ayudan a ver qué tan factible es ejecutar estos proyectos de manera exitosa, lográndose conclusiones interesantes sobre el potencial que se tiene para mejorar la competitividad de este tipo de empresas.
