总结:The concept of gender is used to identify the differences about how cultural norms are internalized and how to run social practices related to sexuality, even how the regulation is different for each sex. Gender commands explore and examine these models of regulation (masculinity and feminity) proposed by the patriarchy about how a man and woman should be have, which are mainly structured around sexuality and relationships within the couple and with others. The aim of this work was to design and validate a Scale to assess the presence of Gender Commands (heteronormative aspects from a traditional-patriarchal perspective) in men and women in their dimensión related to sexuality and aspects of the relationship with a partner. The Gender´s Commands Scale was administered to 345 students aged between 17 and 30 years old, in the state of San Luis Potosí in Mexico. Oblimin factor analysis was performed for all the items. The results confirmed that the scale is an instrument to measure gender commands in young adult population, with an overall reliability index of 0.899. It is concluded that the instrument is suitable for the identification of commands regarding sexual relations and couple’s relationships.
