Con el fin de documentar las acciones turísticas, de investigación y manejo que se han llevado a cabo en Tamaulipas para conservar y aprovechar sustentablemente al cocodrilo de pantano (Crocodylus moreletii) en los ecosistemas de la región, se efectuó una recopilación de información para evaluar esta especie clave de los ecosistemas de humedales y las especies de fauna con las que cohabita.
