The aim of the study was to carry out the adaptation and validation of the School Resilience Scale- E.R.E. To do this, data was collected from two independent samples of high school students from ¬¬¬an educational institution in San Juan de Pasto, Colombia: one of them with 300 adolescents between 11 and 16 years old (M= 13.34; SD= 1 ,31) with which the exploratory factorial analysis of the instrument was performed; and the second with 300 adolescents between 11 and 16 years old (M= 13.47, DE= 1.40) with whom the confirmatory factor analysis was performed. The results revealed two statistically robust dimensions with 26 items: internal resources and external resources, with an ordinal alpha of .92 for the entire scale. In conclusion, this research shows that the E.R.E is a valid and reliable instrument for measuring resilience in the Colombian adolescent population. En la adolescencia existen diferentes retos que los sujetos enfrentaran dependiendo de los recursos internos y externos con los que cuente. El objetivo del estudio fue realizar la adaptación y validación de la Escala de Resiliencia Escolar- E.R.E. Para ello, se recolectaron datos de dos muestras independientes de estudiantes de secundaria de ­­­una institución educativa de San Juan de Pasto, Colombia: una de ellas con 300 adolescentes entre 11 y 16 años (M= 13,34; DE= 1,31) con la cual se realizó el análisis factorial exploratorio del instrumento; y la segunda con 300 adolescentes entre 11 y 16 años (M= 13,47, DE= 1,40) con quienes se realizó el análisis factorial confirmatorio. Los resultados revelaron dos dimensiones robustas estadísticamente con 26 ítems: recursos internos y recursos externos, con un alfa ordinal de .92 para el total de la escala. En conclusión, la presente investigación muestra que la E.R.E es un instrumento válido y confiable para la medición de la resiliencia en población adolescente colombiana.
