Given the demands established by international organizations, this research represents a first approach to the phenomenon through a documentary and comparative review to identify CSA prevention programs developed in Mexico and other countries in search of granting Children and Adolescents (C&A) a dignified life and promote their rights to integrity. A qualitative study was implemented through a review of materials using documentary review as an analysis technique. Once the pertinent literature was located, the documentary record was carried out under a methodological process and the corresponding analysis was elaborated through a comparative technique. Within the results of the research, sexual education is insufficient at the basic level even though the SEP has provided material for its prevention without sufficient coverage and the school has become responsible for implementing programs that meet the needs of the context. In the present work, programs aimed at students, parents, teachers and civil organizations whose objectives are to inform, detect risk situations, promote health and provide self-care tools are identified.
