The objective of this article is to present an analysis of the level of competitiveness of SMEs in the municipality of Umán, Yucatán. The present work is with a quantitative and cross-sectional approach. In this research, the systemic competitiveness model was used, the study population was 95 companies with a sample of 77. The main findings of the work indicate that the companies studied have a high competitiveness index, where the quality assurance factor is one of the best evaluated, while the environmental management factor is one of those that obtained the lowest score.   La competitividad de las PyMEs resulta relevante para analizar su desarrollo en el mercado, el cual cada vez exige un mejor desempeño para que se mantengan vigentes. La competitividad debe ser analizada de forma integral para tener un mejor panorama de estas empresas y conocer cómo interactúan con sus competidores. El objetivo del presente artículo es presentar un análisis del nivel de competitividad de las PyMEs del municipio de Umán, Yucatán. El presente trabajo es con enfoque cuantitativo y de corte transversal. En esta investigación se empleó el modelo de la competitividad sistémica, la población de estudio fueron 95 empresas con una muestra de 77.
