The starting weight was similar between sexes (p>.05) and at end of 22 weeks males showed more weight than the hens (4576±272 vs 3019.28±379.81 gr) (p Se evaluó el comportamiento productivo de una parvada de 67 guajolotes domésticos (Meleagris gallopavo) de traspatio, obtenidos de 87 huevos con 77.07% de tasa de eclosión. El peso inicial de los huevos fue de 78.34±6.9 gr (gramos) y, previo al nacimiento de los pavipollos, de 66.07±15.6. El período de incubación fue de 28±1.2 días. Se observó un mayor incremento de peso en los machos que en las hembras (4576±272 vs 3019.28±379.8 g1) a las 22 semanas de edad. El Índice de Conversión Alimenticia (ICA) de la parvada fue de 4.58 kg (kilogramos), y el de Productividad (174.40) 2.4 veces inferior al encontrado en pavos de líneas comerciales de pavos criados en confinamiento total.
