It is through descriptive statistics and the construction of the Revealed Comparative Advantage Index that exports and imports are analyzed by branch of activity, according to the HS Classification; to show the comparative advantage and productive competitiveness that the State of Quintana Roo has with respect to the rest of the country. Identifying key activities helps to help identify the efficient allocation of the country's resources and seek the correct specialization, either in these categories or in other productive activities that are more profitable and with greater added value. Among the results, it is shown that 6 economic activities present comparative advantages in exports with an IVCR greater than one. There are ten activities that show a comparative advantage in imports and only one activity is that shows that it is competitive according to the net indicator Esta investigación tiene como finalidad identificar el desempeño de los sectores productivos del Estado de Quintana Roo durante el periodo comprendido entre los años 2016 - 2020 y observar si la contingencia sanitaria incidió en su desempeño. Es por medio de estadística descriptiva y de la construcción del Índice de Ventaja Comparativa Revelada que se analiza a las exportaciones e importaciones por rama de actividad, según la Clasificación HS; para mostrar la ventaja comparativa y competitividad productiva que tiene el Estado de Quintana Roo con respecto al resto del país. El identificar las actividades claves permite la asignación eficiente de los recursos del país y la especialización correcta, ya sea en estas categorías o en otras actividades productivas que sean más rentables y con mayor valor agregado. Entre los resultados se muestra que 6 actividades económicas presentan ventajas comparativas en las exportaciones con un IVCR mayor que uno. Diez son las actividades que muestran ventaja comparativa en las importaciones y sólo una actividad presenta competitividad según el indicador neto.
