Description
Summary:Mexico is a country rich in cultural diversity, however, this plurality is marked by social and economic differences.  Indigenous women have been protagonists of social and gender inequality, therefore, they seek to eliminate social, cultural, economic and political gaps. The interest of this research arises from the artistic expression by the collective   "Mujer-es, Tagayu´, Lola'a",   when painting four murals around gender equality and equity within their community.  The objective was to identify the significant and social learning regarding gender equity from the four murals, in the community of San Pablo Macuiltianguis, Oaxaca, to visualize the social impact on the population studied.    The work had as a reference social pedagogy and micro ethnography. The results showed feminism with unique characteristics that reflect identity, sorority, growth, balance, recognition, belonging; as well as the search for constant learning for the community, since both men and women begin to recognize equity.
