This research is about the construction of externals that like mechanisms for the constructions of acts via descriptions we can find them through the reports that the professors offered through qualitative interviews. These interviews were recorded and transcribed for their analysis. Within the inclusion criteria to apply the interviews professors from both genders and the type of contratation such as: full time, parttime and per hours from faculties. From the analysis of the transcript interviews it was possible to know the complex relationship that exists between the exterior constructions (facts) and the institutional perfromance (decision making) of the professors that is expressed in the decision to adhere or stand against to the implementation of the alternative educational model called the integral and flexible educational model (MEIF). Este trabajo de investigación se realizó en las facultades de Sociología y Medicina de la Universidad Veracruzana, campus Xalapa, Ver. Aborda la construcción de exterioridades que, como mecanismos para la construcción de hechos, vía descripciones, se encuentran contenidas en los relatos que los profesores ofrecieron a través de las entrevistas cualitativas que se realizaron con ellos, mismas que fueron grabadas y posteriormente transcritas para su análisis. Dentro de los criterios de inclusión para aplicar las entrevistas se definieron profesores de ambos sexos y el tipo de contratación como: tiempo completo, medio tiempo y por horas de ambas facultades A partir del análisis de las entrevistas transcritas, fue posible conocer la compleja relación que existe entre la construcción de exterioridades (hechos) y la actuación institucional (toma de decisión) de los profesores que se expresa en la decisión de adherirse u oponerse a la implementación del modelo educativo alternativo denominado Modelo Educativo integral y Flexible (MEIF).
