Description
Summary:The proliferation of mobile smart devices in society arouses an interest in knowing how the resources of the devices can be used in the educational context, since students carry their Smartphones with them all the time. The present study analyzes different models for the development of learning in mobile contexts, focusing on reinforcement mechanisms for the adaptation of mobile devices in traditional education. The comparison of the characteristics of the analyzed models served as the basis for the proposal of a learning reinforcement model in mobile contexts. To that aim, the most relevant components and characteristics of current devices are outlined to offer the reader strategies for the reinforcement of his or her teaching practice, including follow-up, support and evaluation of learning tasks. The proposal is based on the communicative essence of the devices, use of multimedia and scenarios resulting from collective intelligence to interiorize learning independently. The model has been designed for its implementation in secondary and higher education levels, rather than in preschool or the first grades of primary education.
