This work is an exploration of the Mexican Revolution in Tamaulipas and how they built a model of masculinity to men attacked some political and military power. Be part of the concept of masculinity understood as a cultural and historical construction of a man and analyzed secondary data sources to capture the power relations and violence woven among men during the armed movement in the region. En este trabajo se hace una exploración de la Revolución Mexicana en Tamaulipas y cómo se construyó un modelo de masculinidad al disputarse algunos hombres el poder político y militar. Se parte del concepto de masculinidad entendida como una construcción histórica y cultural sobre ser un hombre y se analizan fuentes de información secundaria para captar las relaciones de poder y de violencia tejidas entre hombres durante el movimiento armado en la región.
