It emphasizes the participation of Professor Alberto Carrera Torres as the intellectual and ideologist of the movement, which led to radicalize their position for two years to emerge as the armed wing of the first stage of the Mexican revolution in Tamaulipas. Se describe la revuelta campesina protagonizada por los jornaleros de la finca La Perdida en el municipio de Miquihuana, Tamaulipas, México, ubicándola en el contexto de las manifestaciones populares en contra de la explotación de los administradores de las grandes haciendas ixtleras de la región semiárida del estado. Se destaca la participación del profesor Alberto Carrera Torres como el intelectual e ideólogo del movimiento, que lo llevó a radicalizar su postura para que dos años después se erigiera como el brazo armado de la primera etapa de la revolución mexicana en Tamaulipas.
