Such analysis is carried out under the constructivist theory, as a framework for the socialconstruction of student centered knowledge. The study is quantitative, the questionnaire contains 21 items and was answered by 59 graduates registeredin the Millennium III versión of the program. The results show a positive opinion about the career, it helped to build the professional path, they can usethe knowledge acquired in their daily life, and 73% of the graduates are currently working and they would go back to the program if they had the opportunity. Este artículo forma parte de un estudio más amplio de seguimiento de egresados de la Licenciatura en Sociología de la Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipasy da cuenta de la opinión que tienen los egresados de la carrera que estudiaron; la cual es importante debido a que contribuye a la difusión del programa educativo y permite identificar las fortalezas y debilidades del mismo, el análisis se realiza a la luz de la teoría constructivista entendida como la idea de la construcción social del conocimiento centrado en el estudiante. El estudio es de corte cuantitativo, el cuestionario se integró por 21 reactivos y se aplicó en línea vía inbox. Dicho cuestionario fue contestado por 59 egresados registrados en el Plan de Estudios Millemium III. En los resultados se aprecia una opinión positiva sobre la carrera, los ayudó a trazar su carrera profesional, pueden utilizar los conocimientos en su vida diaria, el 73% está trabajando y finalmente si tuvieran la oportunidad de volver a estudiarla lo harían.
