Description
Summary:Teaching practice is a complex task that requires an analysis that includes its different dimensions. This work is the result of a qualitative research of documentary type, which aims to analyze some dimensions of teaching practice: conceptualization, policies, regulations, guidelines, approaches and evaluation criteria. It was found that, in different historical moments, the Ministry of Public Education has developed laws and regulations to evaluate teachers’ practice, in order to raise the quality of education; the vision of educational authorities has focused mainly on the dimensions of pedagogical knowledge and didactic practice of teaching, leaving aside the social and interpersonal dimension of teachers’ professional practice.
