For this purpose, a background check is developed, the competences of the profile of graduates, economy of education: theory of human capital and practicum, as well as public educational policies. In addition, a statistical scope, where reality figures were analyzed, identifying and describing some relevant indicators about the economy of education like the level of instruction and sector of activity in the occupation from 2016 to 2018, including the main conclusions, considering the relevance of the link of the high school students according to the economic activity of the country. Este documento tiene como objetivo analizar las competencias de los practicantes de la Educación Media Superior del Bachillerato Tecnológico y la cobertura de las necesidades de las empresas de México. Para ello se desarrolla una revisión de antecedentes, el Bachillerato Tecnológico y competencias del perfil de egresados, economía de la educación: teoría del capital humano y practicum, así como políticas públicas educativas. Además un análisis estadístico, donde se especifican cifras de la realidad, identificando y describiendo algunos indicadores relevantes de la economía de la educación como el nivel de instrucción y el sector de actividad en la ocupación del año 2016 al 2018 incluyendo las conclusiones principales, considerando la relevancia de la vinculación de los practicantes de Educación Media Superior de acuerdo a la actividad económica del país.
