Provided that the control processes of this program included the filling of different formats for monitoring for teacher ́s evaluation, it was decided to develop a digital system. This study explains the results of the pilot test carried out before releasing the system. El Programa Institucional de Tutorías de la Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) se implementó en el 2002 como una estrategia para apoyar la reforma curricular caracterizada por la flexibilidad de sus planes de estudio y su sistema de créditos, donde la figura del tutor cobró importancia para apoyar, guiar y orientar al estudiante en su trayectoria académica desde su ingreso hasta su titulación. Dado que la gestión de los procesos incluía el llenado de distintos formatos para el se- guimiento requerido para la evaluación docente, se decidió desarrollar un sistema digital para ello. El presente trabajo expone el proceso y resultados de la prueba piloto realizada antes de liberar este sistema.
