Con el propósito de ganar aproximación a una valoración reflexiva sobre las medidas que el gobierno federal mexicano implementó para atender la repatriación de migrantes indocumentados desde los estados Unidos, en el contexto de las políticas xenofóbicas del presidente Donald Trump, se pasa revista a los planteamientos teóricos que buscan explicar el fenómeno migratorio, y se explora la dimensión de éste, especialmente en lo que se refiere a los menores de edad y a los estudiantes con estancia no autorizada, para con ello proceder a la valoración de las últimas reformas hechas a la Ley General de educación y su impacto en el nivel de educación superior.
